What You’ll Be Doing
- Brand Maintenance: Conducting scheduled servicing, routine maintenance, and safety inspections to manufacturer guidelines across 3 major brands.
- Diagnostic Fault Finding: Utilizing official brand diagnostic platforms to trace, isolate, and resolve complex electrical, software, and mechanical issues.
- Component Repairs: Carrying out major mechanical overhauls, engine/gearbox work, suspension repairs, and warranty work.
- Quality Standards: Working efficiently to achieve right-first-time repairs and maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings.
- Teamwork: Collaborating inside a large, energetic 19-technician workshop alongside experienced service advisors and workshop control.
Requirements
- Proven background as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or Service Technician (main dealer or independent background welcome).
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent time-served experience).
- Strong diagnostic capability, efficiency mindset, and pride in clean work quality.
- A full UK driving licence.
