What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Utilizing modern scan tools to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Servicing & Maintenance: Carrying out routine manufacturer servicing, comprehensive maintenance, and safety inspections across a diverse mix of vehicles.
- Core Repairs & Overhauls: Executing all-round repairs including brakes, clutches, suspension systems, timing belts, engine components, and exhausts.
- Quality Assurance: Delivering a "Right First Time" fix standard while maintaining a clean, safe workshop bay.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent time-served competence).
- Proven hands-on workshop experience in an independent garage or dealership setting with strong diagnostic habits.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- A full UK driving licence.
