Your Role
As a vital Workshop Technician / Vehicle Mechanic in our team, you will:
- Perform vehicle diagnostics using modern equipment to accurately identify and resolve complex faults.
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Undertake broad mechanical repairs, including brakes, suspension, clutches, and engine work.
- Conduct MOT pre-checks and prepare vehicles for testing, delivering clean "first-time fix" results.
What You Need
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a Workshop Technician, Auto Technician, or Mechanic in a garage environment.
- F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not essential for experienced technicians.
- Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair and diagnostic tasks.
- Key Strengths: Strong diagnostic abilities, attention to detail, reliability, and the drive to work independently within a small team.
