What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintenance & Servicing: Conducting routine servicing, scheduled maintenance, and major mechanical overhauls across a diverse range of vehicles.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Utilizing modern factory and multi-make software to trace, isolate, and solve complex electrical and mechanical faults.
- Quality Workmanship: Maintaining a clean Right First Time standard on all jobs to protect our outstanding local reputation.
- Technical Records: Keeping accurate inspection logs, fault reports, and repair documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Working alongside a tight-knit team of experienced technicians in a friendly, supportive environment.
Requirements
- Proven background as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic (independent garage or main dealer background welcome).
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent proven time-served experience).
- Strong fault-finding mindset and pride in quality repair work.
- Active MOT Tester licence is a strong bonus, but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence.
