Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Cardiff technical team, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, braking system maintenance, timing belts, and general mechanical repairs.
- Use up-to-date diagnostic tools to systematically fault-find and resolve technical, electrical, and mechanical issues.
- Maintain precise and methodical standards to consistently deliver clean "first-time fix" results.
- Collaborate with a skilled technical team to keep the workshop running efficiently in a productive, stress-free environment.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Maintenance with proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.
Key Strengths: Strong work ethic, reliable diagnostic skills (engine knowledge is a plus), and attention to detail.
