The Role:

As a Vehicle Technician / Motor Vehicle Technician, you will:

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Complete vehicle inspections and health checks
  • Carry out MOT preparation and repair work
  • Work on cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship
  • Ensure accurate completion of job cards and workshop documentation
  • Support a clean, safe and professional workshop environment

About You:

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Service Technician, or Car Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Experience working on modern vehicle systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
