What You’ll Be Doing
- MOT Preparation & Testing: Taking full ownership of prepping customer cars and new stock, identifying faults, and successfully putting vehicles through their MOT tests.
- Independent Fault Finding: Working as a self-sufficient technician to diagnose and fix mechanical issues efficiently.
- Quality Workmanship: Ensuring a right-first-time fix, maintaining the absolute highest standard of safety and quality control.
- Diverse Mechanics: Transitioning smoothly between standard combustion engines, commercial platforms, and next-generation EVs.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid, active MOT Tester Licence.
- Must be completely self-sufficient and confident prepping and testing vehicles independently.
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent portfolio of hands‑on experience).
- Ideally situated within a 30-minute radius of the Burton-on-Trent area.
- A full UK driving licence.
