We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our state-of-the-art main dealer team in Bridgend. The Rewards
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year basic (Negotiable rate tailored directly to your level of experience and technical skills).

Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic within our professional Bridgend workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, safety inspections, and mechanical repairs to approved manufacturer standards.
- Troubleshoot complex vehicle faults systematically using advanced factory diagnostic equipment, software, and digital interfaces.
- Complete all repair orders with high technical precision, maintaining precise digital service logs and repair records.
- Work efficiently and independently while collaborating with the wider workshop team and mentoring junior staff.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience: NVQ / IMI Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years of hands-on workshop experience preferred - main dealer experience is ideal, but confident technicians stepping up from an independent background are welcome. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
Licensing & Vetting: Full UK driving licence is required. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required. A basic DBS check will be completed with expenses fully covered by the employer.
Key Strengths: Strong technical fault-finding ability, solid IT literacy, robust work ethic, and clear daily communication skills.
