The Rewards
- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year basic (Positioned within our standard bracket depending on experience and qualification level).

Your Role
As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Didcot workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, safety health checks, and general mechanical maintenance across a wide variety of makes and models.
- Utilize up-to-date diagnostic tools and computer scanners to systematically troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete thorough maintenance, diagnostic, and preparation work, ensuring consistently high "first-time fix" quality standards.
- Work productively alongside a skilled team of motor mechanics to maintain a smooth and efficient workshop flow.
What You Need
- Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with a proven track record in a professional workshop setting. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
- Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools to manage daily repair tasks effectively.
- Key Strengths: A reliable, self-motivated team player with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
