HAWK Fire is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Systems Commissioning Engineer to join our growing projects team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically competent engineer to work on high-profile commercial and infrastructure projects across London and the South East, carrying out commissioning activities during night shifts (Sunday to Thursday).
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems
- Testing and verification of installations to relevant standards
- Fault finding and rectification during commissioning stages
- Client demonstrations and handover support
- Production of commissioning documentation and reports
- Ensuring compliance with BS 5839-1 and project specifications
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the fire alarm industry
- Strong commissioning and fault-finding background
- Excellent working knowledge of Morley and MXPro 5 (Advanced Electronics Ltd) fire alarm systems
- Good understanding of BS 5839-1 and fire alarm cause-and-effect programming
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients, contractors and project teams
Working Pattern
- Night shifts – Sunday to Thursday
- Projects located throughout London and the South East
