What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Software Development: Design, develop and maintain Unreal Engine applications using modern C++ and Blueprints.
  • Feature Delivery: Build new functionality, enhance existing systems and contribute to the continued development of our graphics platform.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, artists, product managers and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code, participate in peer reviews, testing and debugging to ensure reliable software.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas that improve performance, usability and maintainability while continuing to develop your own technical knowledge.
  • Agile Working: Take part in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and technical discussions as part of an Agile development team.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Commercial experience developing applications with Unreal Engine (ideally Unreal Engine 5).
  • Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++11/14/17) and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience using Unreal Engine Blueprints.
  • Experience developing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
  • An understanding of graphics APIs such as DirectX, OpenGL or Vulkan.
  • Knowledge of HLSL/GLSL shader development would be beneficial.
  • A good understanding of 3D mathematics relevant to graphics programming.
  • Experience working within an Agile software development environment.
  • Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • A willingness to learn, develop new skills and contribute to technical discussions.
