These are the different areas that you can explore:
- Technical: Testing, improving and stress testing our systems to enhance the performance of our delivery across the tours.
- Creative: Working closely with TV directors and external broadcasters to provide statistics and storytelling of insights across tennis matches during live broadcasts.
- Operations: Reviewing, improving and strategising how we improve the efficiency of delivery across the globe.
- Projects: On-site management of our service delivery across the globe. Liaising with external stakeholders to organise our technical requirements to be ready and sites to be prepared for our arrival, and to deliver our services to the deadline of the events.
- Broadcast Production: Rigging and directing live TV broadcasts across the Masters 1000s ATP tour.
Responsibilities
- Owner of our staffing process and communication, both internally and externally.
- Maintain operational scheduling commitments and own the scheduling framework for tennis.
- Lead planning and resourcing staff for Tennis events, establish strong operational teams based on service delivery requirements, to hand over to Project Managers for each event.
- This includes coordinating with the SP Operations and Production Manager to ensure effective cross-utilisation of staff across both functions.
- Own and improve processes for annual leave, work from home, T&D days & kit maintenance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate casual staff and work with HR to raise contracts & approve expenses.
- Alongside Operations team and tennis management team define strategies, delivery models and processes to drive consistent, high quality service delivery.
- Work with Training and Development Manager / Lead, drive progression and development of new and existing staff through development pathways.
- Regular coordination with Operations Managers across Tour Sports/regions to resource “external” staff creatively and efficiently.
- Contribute to a sustainable working model to ensure that working commitments are balanced and practical, leading to increased operator experience and staff retention.
- Active role in Operations team, supporting the Operations Manager in day to day tasks and working to establish robust processes for service delivery across a range of projects.

- Efficient and cost-effective planning of staffing movements.
- Both calculating appropriate rig, operational and derig allocations of teams across our events and iterative review of staffing efficacy across events, contributing to a streamlined operational model across the tours.
- Quantitative analysis of staff utilisation, development and retention.
- Cost and time efficiencies found through effective planning.
- Implementation and management of staff development programs.
- Increased efficiency of delivery, opening up wider opportunities for new event (i.e. can we find an operational model where HE Live at Challenger Events becomes viable?).
- Ability to confirm staffing capacity for event delivery long term when presented with new business opportunities.
