My client is seeking a Senior Finance Family Solicitor to join their busy and successful firm. The ideal candidate will manage a caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial remedies, mediation and private law children cases.

You will:

  • Perform case management handling a variety of family law cases focusing on divorce, civil partnership dissolution, and financial matters.
  • Provide mediation services to resolve family disputes outside of court.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.
  • Offer high-quality legal advice and representation to clients with a focus on client care.
  • Ensure exceptional standards of confidentiality.
  • Manage client expectations and provide regular updates on case progress.
  • Conduct mediation sessions for clients, focusing on resolving issues related to divorce, finances, and child arrangements.
  • Prepare mediation agreements and ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.
  • Network with other professionals and organisations to promote the firm's services.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts, including writing blogs and attending events.
  • Adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the firm's policies and procedures, including those related to risk management and quality control.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post Qualified Solicitor experience with a minimum of 5 years PQE in family law.
  • Proven experience in handling private family law matters.
  • Accreditation as a family mediator.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using legal case management software.
