Our client is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Support Engineer to join their team due to expansion. You will be responsible for the implementation of support across their portfolio, and that the requirements of the SLAs are being met.

You will:

  • Provide maintenance and support for Audio Visual and Video Conferencing installations for the UK client base
  • Carry out fault finding and resolution of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing problems in time sensitive, high-pressure situations
  • Assist the Installation Team with new installations of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing solutions for customers between reactive service calls
  • Complete accurate service records and paperwork for customer service visits
  • Proactively build close working relationships with the customer portfolio
  • Identify further sales opportunities with existing customers and ensure these opportunities are recorded and delivered to the appropriate internal teams
  • Clearly communicate with the service team and other appropriate internal teams regarding all customer requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in installing and supporting Audio Visual Conferencing solutions
  • Be articulate, driven and positive
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be comfortable working in an autonomous environment
  • Have the ability to work under pressure
  • Have a flexible approach to working hours
  • Have experience in AMX/Crestron hardware/Software knowledge to a level where code can be uploaded/faults identified
  • Have knowledge of basic configurations of Cisco codecs
  • Have basic IT Network Knowledge
  • Have experience maintaining and troubleshooting Polycom Codec and Sound structure equipment

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm. You will support 24 hour out of hours supporting 1 weekend per month.
