Due to expansion my client is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Physics/Engineering Graduate to join their team in Surrey. You will be responsible for finding solutions and recommendations to the UK scientific research communities.
You will:
- Provide technical support to all customers
- Assist with the planning of the equipment, using some electronic/machinery skills
- Assist in the assembling of the lasers
- Carry out testing of the products before shipment
- Assist clients with all enquiries via telephone and email
- Create and distribute quotations
- Support with the coordination of trade shows and conferences
- Carry out product demonstrations at trade shows and conferences
- Continuously research and upskill on the knowledge of all products
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a qualification within engineering
- Ideally have a good understanding of Physics
- Be highly motivated
- Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be able to work within a structured working environment
- Have a strong working knowledge on Microsoft Office
- Eager to learn and develop on current skills
- Have the ability to identify customers’ problems, consult and search for a solution
