AV Technical Installation Engineer London – Field based £40K – £42K per annum plus overtime Our client is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Installation Engineer to join their team due to growth. You will be responsible for attending multiple customer sites to carry out installation, configuration and at times assisting with fixes. You will: Install, configure and test AV systems Produce and update technical documentation Review and advise on technical solution design Carry out pre-site system staging configuration and testing Carry out system commissioning and handover Plan AV, IP networks, work with the client to ensure IT protocols and network security policies are adhered to Be fully involved in all onsite installation activities Ensure all works are completed to the clients’ standards Ensure the termination and connection of all cabling and equipment is carried out to the highest standard Follow up directly any issues or technical questions with manufacturers Support with first and second fix works Assist where required in support escalations Pick up and completing on or off-site tasks delegated from Project Manager Review and advise on necessary changes to system design drawings Adhere to strict on-site and internal health and safety procedures Extensive regular contact with assigned project Clients Participate in client / contractor meetings Assist where required in resolving client, engineering, and project management issues Demonstrate a commitment to cover manufacturer-based training deemed relevant for systems installation and remain aware and knowledgeable of changes in AV technology The ideal candidate will: Have a minimum of 3 years installing AV equipment Have a minimum of 12 months’ experience specifically dedicated to setting up and configuring AV equipment Have a high level of experience of on-site implementation knowledge Ideally have completed and passed AVIXA CTS exams Have experience within Crestron DM and NVX, Crestron Toolbox Software for troubleshooting, Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS, Dante Level 1, (Ideally Level 2) Have experience in Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms (Crestron Flex, Crestron Mercury, Poly, Logitech) Have Zoom Integration Certification Have experience in Cisco Video Conferencing endpoint deployment Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Have a full UK driving license Be trustworthy and honest Work well within a fast paced and pressurised environment Be a strong team player Have no barriers for SC clearance Have basic knowledge on Microsoft Office Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.
