Project Manager in Basingstoke

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Basingstoke. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be successfully delivering projects for both the internal stakeholders and the customers.

You will:

• Gather the requirements for the project and document the project scope
• Plan all phases of the project delivery
• Develop the work breakdown structures
• Document and define the project controls whilst producing and maintaining the project documentation
• Manage the creation of bid responses
• Carry out risk identification, analysis, and mitigations
• Manage budgets, resources, and dependencies on assigned projects
• Control the project scope and manage project changes
• Manage the project issues to successful conclusion
• Produce reports and distribute on the project performance
• Define communication strategies and deliver exceptional communications on all projects
• Facilitate smooth interaction between all departments involved in each project
• Work closely with all levels of stakeholders across the project cycle
• Find innovative solutions to complex problems
• Manage time and workloads to produce successful outcomes

You will ideally:

• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Project Management role
• Have experience working across multi-site project rollout
• Have experience managing 3rd party suppliers
• Have experience working with stakeholders
• Have gained the Prince2 qualification or similar
• Have excellent Microsoft Office experience including MS Project
• Have excellent influencing and negotiation skills
• Be proactive, confident and can work well independently
• Have excellent management skills
• Have a full UK driving license
• Have excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
• Have strong attention to detail
• Be results driven

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
