Are you an experienced CNC Setter looking for a long term role in a well established environment? We are looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join our clients Machine Shop on their day shift team.
The role
- Working with a supportive Machine Shop team, you will be responsible for setting and operating a range of CNC milling machines (2, 3 and 3+2 axis) to produce small to medium batch components.
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines (programming knowledge helpful but not essential)
- Carrying out 1st off inspections and quality checks using a variety of measuring tools
- Making confident machine adjustments with minimal supervision
- Tooling management, including replacing inserts
- Undertaking deburring tasks as required
- Basic machine maintenance
- Using overhead cranes (training provided)
About you
- You’ll be an experienced CNC Miller with at least 2 years CNC milling experience using Faunc and Heidenhain controls
- Strong understanding of technical drawings
- High attention to detail and a problem solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
- Commitment to safe working practices
