Are you a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for a proactive and hands-on Shift Engineer to support site maintenance, drive machine efficiency, and play a key role in continuous improvement.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out day-to-day engineering, maintenance, and fault finding activities across the site. You’ll work to minimise downtime, improve OEE, and ensure all work meets high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and implement effective engineering solutions.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Support TPM and planned preventative maintenance routines.
- Reduce unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Manage engineering parts, materials, and stock control.
- Complete safety checks, hazard cards, and ensure safe working practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and energy efficiency projects.
About You
You’ll bring strong technical knowledge and a positive, proactive approach to engineering challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
- Recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ etc.).
- Electrical installation experience (17th/18th Edition desirable).
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Ability to read electrical engineering drawings.
- Background in a manufacturing/production environment (blow/injection moulding experience advantageous).

- Able to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
