Working Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions have an excellent opportunity for an experienced EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety activity at a busy manufacturing site in Rushden. Reporting into the Plant Manager, with additional support from the Regional EHS function, this role is pivotal in driving a proactive safety culture and ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and industry standards.

You will champion a zero‑accident mindset, strengthen environmental performance, and embed best‑practice behaviours across all departments.

  • EHS Leadership — Lead and coordinate Environmental, Health & Safety systems across the Rushden site.
  • Safety Culture Development — Promote positive safety behaviours and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Occupational Health Management — Arrange referrals, surveillance programmes and employee assessments.
  • Legislative Compliance — Ensure adherence to UK Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and corporate standards.
  • Performance Monitoring — Analyse and report EHS data, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Training & Coaching — Deliver inductions, refresher training and provide coaching to managers and employees.
  • Environmental & Sustainability Projects — Lead site projects focused on environmental performance and sustainability.

NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) is essential. Proven experience in an EHS management or advisory role within manufacturing or a similar operational environment. Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety and Environmental legislation. Skilled in incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action management. Competent in Microsoft Office applications and data/KPI reporting. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills. Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills. Willingness to travel occasionally to other UK sites. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
