Following an internal promotion, Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality strategy, strengthen the Quality Management System (QMS), and drive excellence across inspection, quality engineering, supplier quality, and broader business quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) including plans, procedures, processes, records, and corrective actions.
- Manage, support, and develop the Quality team, including welfare, training, performance, and professional development.
- Act as the quality lead across all departments, ensuring customer standards and requirements are met.
- Oversee non‑conformance management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer complaint systems.
- Manage internal and external audits, certification bodies, and act as the Management Representative during audits.
- Drive continuous improvement and support operational excellence initiatives.
- Lead supplier quality activities and ensure robust calibration programme management.
- Develop and improve inspection methods for incoming and in‑process inspection.
- Track, analyse, and improve quality KPIs, celebrating success and implementing countermeasures.
- Ensure quality is embedded into new products and processes through effective NPI management.
- What You’ll Bring
- Certified Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality role within manufacturing, engineering or Aerospace.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Experience managing internal/external audits and certification bodies.
- Expertise in quality processes, non‑conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
- Experience developing and implementing Quality Plans and maintaining QMS.
- People management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Desirable: Experience within aerospace/defence, AS9100 knowledge, ERP systems (ideally IFS), calibration programme management, and working across global time zones.
