Purchasing and Production Assistant Harlow, Essex (CM19) Salary: Β£30,000 – Β£38,000 DOE Hours: Mon–Thu 7:00am – 4:00pm (Β½ hr lunch) | Fri 7:00am – 12:00pm Permanent Full-time role Join a Growing Precision Engineering Leader Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are proud to be supporting a rapidly expanding precision engineering and machining business working with high-value aerospace and defence clients. With Β£10m+ in live orders and exciting projects on the horizon, we are seeking a Hands on Purchasing and Production Assistant to work in this fast paced, rewarding environment. You will be reporting to the Production Manager and assist with purchasing, accounts and production planning. Duties and Experience You will need to love data entry as you will be entering invoices and orders etc onto their system This can also be a physical / hands on job, carrying / moving jobs around the shop floor. Ideal candidate needs to be good with numbers and paying great attention to detail As the role involves exporting CSV files out from our Manufacturing Software and converting to Excel spread sheets so knowledge and experience of Excel is essential Confident in purchasing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and managing lead times. Strong IT skills, including experience with ERP/MRP systems and customer portals. Highly organised, adaptable, and able to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
