People Officer (Learning, Development & Talent Acquisition)

12 Month Fixed Term Contract / Hybrid

Location: Any Devon or Somerset office – but will need to be flexible to travel to different offices especially Exeter and Plymouth

Job type: Fixed Term Contract

Hours: Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week / part time hours may be considered

Salary: £29,000 – £32,500 per annum

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a enthusiastic People Office to join our clients HR Team on a fixed term contract (Feb 2026 – Feb 2027) to cover maternity leave.

The successful candidate will be supporting a range of learning, development and recruitment projects – from delivering training and wellbeing events to onboarding new starters and coordinating career initiatives.

This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who\’s organised, confident, and people-focused, with a genuine passion for employee experience and development.

What you\’ll do:

Plan and deliver engaging training and induction sessions

Coordinate firmwide wellbeing and learning events

Support recruitment, onboarding and career programmes

Work closely with leaders and external training providers

Champion wellbeing and learning across the business

About you:

Great communication and presentation skills

Organised, proactive, and adaptable

Confident using MS Office and Canva

Experience in L&D, HR or recruitment preferred
