Salary: £43,441.05 + £3,712.80 Shift Allowance = £47,153

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established engineering team supporting a busy manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased, time-served engineer to work within a modern production environment, ensuring the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide breakdown support across manufacturing machinery, automation equipment and ancillary systems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Support continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Work closely with production and engineering colleagues to achieve operational targets.
  • Contribute to improvement projects aimed at increasing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
  • Support the development and upskilling of colleagues where appropriate.
  • Assist other engineers and departments as required.

About You

  • Time-served Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias.
  • Ideally multi-skilled with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Experience of injection moulding machinery would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong commitment to safe working practices.
