Shifts: 06:00 - 14:00 ; 14:00 - 22:00 ; 22:00 - 06:00 (1 in 5 weeks)

The Role
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting all aspects of engineering on site. This includes maintenance, installation, repairs, and ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and facilities within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and, if competent, electrical systems.
- Maintain site utilities, buildings, and support services in accordance with safety and legal standards.
- Support machine uptime through timely fault-finding and repairs.
- Identify and implement engineering improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Liaise with internal departments to minimise disruption and ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure all work complies with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Hygiene regulations.
Ideal Candidate
- HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Practical experience with mechanical and/or electrical maintenance in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
- Proactive, with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to support broader business objectives and adapt to changing priorities.
