An exciting opportunity has arisen for skilled MIG/Coded Welders to join a highly respected and market-leading manufacturer. Our client is a well-established organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth, investment, and expansion of their product range, they are now looking to strengthen their assembly operations team at their Lydney site. The Role
Working within a busy fabrication and assembly environment, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to exacting customer and industry standards. Key responsibilities include:
- MIG welding mild steel ranging from 1.5mm to 15mm thickness
- Working from and interpreting engineering drawings
- Welding in various positions to a high standard
- Ensuring all work is completed 'right first time'
- Identifying and reporting any non-conformance issues
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards
- Supporting wider production requirements as part of a flexible team environment
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A recognised engineering apprenticeship in Welding & Fabrication or proven time-served experience
- Strong MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- A proactive and flexible attitude
- Experience working to tight deadlines without compromising quality
What's on Offer
Salary £16.93 per hour + overtime available
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm
- 40 hours per week
- Travel allowance of 30p per mile after a 30-mile return commute

Based in Lydney, Gloucestershire, this role is easily commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, and South Wales.
