Manufacturing Team Leader — Location: Liverpool, L34 | Job type: Permanent | Hours: 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) | Salary: £33,600 per annum

Are you an experienced Team Leader with a background in FMCG or food production? Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business that supplies into exciting sectors such as bakery, confectionery, beverages, and nutrition.

We’re looking for someone who can bring strong people management skills, a focus on quality, and the drive to keep operations running smoothly day to day.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supporting a production team to meet daily targets
  • Ensuring quality, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently achieved
  • Delegating tasks effectively across the packing line and monitoring efficiency
  • Checking weights, codes, and packaging to guarantee accuracy and compliance
  • Minimising waste and downtime while driving continuous improvement
  • Keeping accurate production records and ensuring all documentation is completed
  • Acting as the point of contact in the Shift Manager’s absence

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience in FMCG (ideally food manufacturing)
  • A solid understanding of health & safety and hygiene compliance
  • Confident leadership skills with a hands-on approach

Desirable

  • FLT Counterbalance licence
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge
  • Food-related qualifications or further study
