Hawk 3 Talent Solutions have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment on a rotating continental shift pattern. You’ll be part of a dedicated Engineering Team responsible for maintaining moulding machinery, automation equipment and ancillary systems across the site. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical bias and experience in fast-paced industrial settings—particularly those familiar with injection moulding. You will play a key role in ensuring uptime, supporting continuous improvement, and providing rapid breakdown response to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Shift Pattern

You will work a rotating continental shift pattern: 4 days on (6am–6pm), 4 days off, 4 nights on (6pm–6am), 4 nights off.

Responsibilities

  • Provide breakdown cover on moulding machines, automation equipment and ancillary systems.
  • Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) on all site machinery.
  • Ensure safe, efficient repairs during equipment breakdowns.
  • Support ongoing improvements to automation and manufacturing processes.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to deliver shared engineering goals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and OEE improvements.
  • Always adopt and promote safe working practices.
  • Assist other engineers as required.

Essential

  • Time-served engineer with an electrical bias, ideally multi-skilled.
  • Self-motivated with a strong focus on improving equipment effectiveness.

Desirable

  • Experience working in an injection moulding production environment.

Salary & Benefits

  • Starting salary: £41,720.95 per annum.
  • Shift allowance (Level 1): £3,712.80 per annum.
  • Total starting package: £45,433.75.
  • Salary review pending: 1st April.
  • 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
