Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in the Leeds area, is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician / Mechanical Fitter to join their team. This is a key role supporting the ongoing maintenance, reliability, and improvement of site infrastructure and production equipment.
- Ensure all infrastructure assets comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the site
- Infrastructure & Asset Management
- Deliver engineering and electrical projects within agreed timeframes
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programmes
- Carry out reactive maintenance and respond to breakdowns efficiently
- Assist with planning and budgeting for equipment replacement
- Work closely with the Site Manager to coordinate maintenance activity
- Monitor and report on asset performance
Apprentice-trained Electrician with strong industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
Background in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Good IT and computer skills
