Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure output targets are consistently met
- Monitor operations and quickly resolve any issues to minimize downtime
- Lead, support and motivate a team of operatives and supervisors across your shift
- Deliver clear pre‑shift briefings, setting expectations and priorities
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback and performance management
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Carry out regular checks to maintain operational and quality standards
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and waste reduction
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes
About you
- Experience in a supervisory or management role within food manufacturing or a similar production environment
- Strong understanding of UK food safety and health & safety standards
- Confident leader with ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
- Comfortable using production systems and reporting tools
- Food safety or management qualifications are an advantage
