About the Role
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking an experienced and proactive Hygiene Supervisor to lead our hygiene function within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment based between York and Leeds. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and compliance across the site are consistently achieved. As a 24/7 operation, flexibility is essential. While core hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, you will occasionally be required to work outside of these hours to support the night team and oversee critical cleaning activities. For example, attending and inspecting specialist cleans (such as free-from allergen cleans) that may take place overnight (e.g. 3am on Sundays), with working hours adjusted accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the hygiene team to deliver exceptional standards
- Ensure all hygiene, waste, and pest control systems are compliant and effectively maintained
- Verify daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning records are accurately completed
- Investigate hygiene-related non-conformances and implement corrective actions
