Salary: The Role
- Follow relevant procedures in the production operations in the machining of components, ensuring finished components meet the necessary quality standards.
- Inspect components at various stages to ensure quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments.
- Deburr components for safe material movement.
- Operate overhead cranes (LOLER training provided).
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised workplace.
- Perform TPM activities (swarf removal, coolant routines, oiling/greasing).
- Monitor and maintain consumable stock levels.
- Carry out daily bookings against route card jobs.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Requirements:
- Min 2 years experience in manual lathe turning.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Lifting and slinging capabilities.
- Full understanding of Health.
