The role offers considerable flexibility, with the business open to 2 or 3 days per week and flexible working arrangements for the right person. /p p strong The Role /strong /p p Reporting into the senior management team, you will take ownership of the companys established QHSE Integrated Business Management System and ensure continued compliance, development and improvement across the business. /p p The successful candidate will be comfortable operating autonomously, bringing a proactive and practical approach to QHSE. You will work closely with colleagues, customers and suppliers, providing guidance on compliance, quality and regulatory requirements. /p p There will also be an element of hands-on involvement within the engineering and manufacturing environment, so an engineering background or strong understanding of manufacturing processes would be highly advantageous. /p ul li strong Key Duties /strong Manage and maintain the companys integrated QHSE Business Management System to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. /li li Plan and conduct internal audits and support external accreditation audits. /li li Develop, maintain and improve processes, procedures and work instructions. /li li Monitor and report on monthly QHSE KPIs. /li li Schedule and support Management Review Meetings. /li li Manage internal and supplier non-conformances and corrective actions. /li li Monitor customer satisfaction, feedback and complaints. /li li Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards. /li li Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding QHSE requirements. /li li Support supplier audits and undertake occasional supplier visits. /li li Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve processes and documentation. /li li Support facilities and maintenance compliance activities. /li li Provide practical QHSE advice across the business. /li /ul p strong Experience Qualifications /strong /p ul li strong Essential: /strong A strong background in Quality/QHSE leadership. /li li Strong experience managing and maintaining a QMS, BMS or Integrated Management System. /li li Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. /li li Proven internal auditing experience. /li li Experience managing compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. /li li Strong communication, planning and organisational skills. /li li Good understanding of quality and continuous improvement principles. /li /ul p br /p p strong Benefits /strong /p p br /p p 20 days holiday + BH, early finish on Friday at 1530 /p ul li Annual bonus depending on company performance pro-rata /li li Aviva health insurance /li li Death in service /li /ul p This role would suit an experienced QHSE Manager, Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or QHSE Engineer looking for a flexible part-time opportunity within a friendly and established engineering business. /p p br /p
