Pay
£33,397 to £37897, plus overtime
Responsibilities
- Report to Forges Team Leaders or Die Plant Manager with any issues with product, health and safety or machine breakdowns etc.
- Adhere to and encourage health and safety methods and procedures
- Inspection for all components throughout the process
- Support in continuous improvement
- Make sure all forging areas are tidy and organised
- To work as efficiently as possible
- Forklift truck driving
- Drive Crane & Fork Truck
- Hardness testing
- Cleaning, tidying and improving the state of the department
- Lorry loading / unloading
- Operate machinery around forging presses
- Sign off route card operations such as hardness testing
Required Skills & Experience
- Overhead crane license,
- Previous Forge experience
- Forklift license, Ideally
