Role: Export Packer & Case Maker
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Salary: £25,646.40 per annum
Overtime: 1.5x rate (weekdays), 2x Sundays, 3x Bank Holidays
Role Overview
Hawk 3 are seeking a skilled Export Packer & Case Maker to join a dynamic team in Avonmouth. The successful candidate will prepare and package goods to ensure they withstand all external factors typically encountered during lifting, handling, shipment, and storage. You will be responsible for carrying out all packing functions to agreed standards, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
Construct cases with correct bracing and package items according to customer and industry specifications.
Package equipment to protect against moisture, dirt, shock, and tilt during transit.
Use strapping, stretch wrapping, foam lining, bubble wrap, and foil bagging as required.
Secure goods using brackets and lock-down techniques.
Correctly mark cases with weight, handling instructions, lifting points, and temperature controls.
Ensure compliance with heat-treated timber marking and airline security regulations.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly.
Keep the work area clean, tidy, and operational.
Participate in safety and training programs.
Support packing workflow to meet schedules and deadlines.
Assist with machinery movement when required.
Perform additional duties aligned with skills and experience as needed.

Ensure high-quality records and paperwork are accurate, timely, and complete.
Fulfill customer requirements fully and on time.
Pack goods in line with all applicable specifications and standards.
