Shifts: 07:00-15:00/15:15-23:15 rotational or if preferred fixed lates

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime and reliability
- Responding quickly to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective repairs
- Maintaining and repairing a range of mechanical and electrical equipment including motors, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Supporting installation, upgrades and improvement projects across the site
- Identifying root causes of recurring issues and driving long‑term solutions
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations and best practice
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Providing flexible support across shifts and occasionally across multiple sites
What We’re Looking For – Essential
- Proven experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Multi‑skilled background, ideally electrically biased (mechanical candidates with some electrical knowledge considered)
- Strong fault‑finding skills and the ability to read electrical drawings
- Knowledge of motors, drives and control systems
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Good IT skills and ability to maintain records
- Flexible, team‑oriented approach with the ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence and own transport due to location (15 minutes outside of Swindon)
What We’re Looking For – Desirable
- Electrical qualification beneficial (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds, 17th or 18th Edition)
- Mechanical qualifications or strong mechanical experience
- Welding, fabrication or machining skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings and gearboxes
- PLC fault‑finding experience
- Knowledge of BS7671 testing and inspection
