The predicted salary is between 45000 - 45000 € per year.

Salary up to £45K + annual bonus + competitive benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Shifts: 07:00-15:00/15:15-23:15 rotational or if preferred fixed lates

Overtime available and paid at 1.5x

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime and reliability
  • Responding quickly to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective repairs
  • Maintaining and repairing a range of mechanical and electrical equipment including motors, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Supporting installation, upgrades and improvement projects across the site
  • Identifying root causes of recurring issues and driving long‑term solutions
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations and best practice
  • Keeping accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Providing flexible support across shifts and occasionally across multiple sites

What We’re Looking For – Essential

  • Proven experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Multi‑skilled background, ideally electrically biased (mechanical candidates with some electrical knowledge considered)
  • Strong fault‑finding skills and the ability to read electrical drawings
  • Knowledge of motors, drives and control systems
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Good IT skills and ability to maintain records
  • Flexible, team‑oriented approach with the ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport due to location (15 minutes outside of Swindon)

What We’re Looking For – Desirable

  • Electrical qualification beneficial (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds, 17th or 18th Edition)
  • Mechanical qualifications or strong mechanical experience
  • Welding, fabrication or machining skills
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings and gearboxes
  • PLC fault‑finding experience
  • Knowledge of BS7671 testing and inspection
