Salary: £40,000 plus benefits

Location: Coventry based, in the field

Contract: Permanent – 40 Hours per week

Role Purpose

To provide mobile Refrigeration / Air Conditioning services, both regular planned service against pre‑agreed schedules and reactive work and urgent breakdown, plus installation of new equipment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembling and installing air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems and components.
  • Fault diagnosis on various systems i.e., Splits, Twin, Multi, VRF and Chillers.
  • Carry out leak test in compliance with the F Gas Regulations.
  • Repair and replace defective parts of AC and Refrigeration systems as and when required.
  • Recommending, developing, and performing preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Identifying refrigeration faults and system malfunctions.
  • Adhering to applicable standards, safety procedures and policies.
  • Providing callout response for customers as detailed on the weekly callout rota.
  • Working an amount of overtime to complete chargeable out‑of‑hours PPM and reactive work.
  • Ensuring reports and commissioning sheets are kept to a high standard.
  • Ensuring equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
  • Providing a professional service in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Being fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
  • Evaluating performance and ensuring proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
  • Liaising with clients and internal departments to build effective relationships ensuring that the image presented suitably represents the high standards required by the Company.
  • Supporting selection and procurement of materials, tools and equipment required including supplier and internal liaison.

Qualifications & Experience

  • C & G Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or NVQ equivalent.
  • F Gas Certified.
  • IPAF.
  • PASMA.
  • Full, Clean Driver’s Licence.
  • Good technical knowledge of various Split Air Conditioning and VRV/VRF equipment.
  • Experience with small Chillers (up to 10 kW).
  • All‑round Mechanical Engineering knowledge.
  • All‑round Electrical Engineering knowledge.
  • AHU’s & HR Systems experience.
