Hours: Monday to Thursday 6:45am – 4:30pm (37 hour per week)
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC turner to join our client's team in Bristol on a permanent contract.
We are seeking candidates with strong CNC turning and programming experience (Fixed or Sliding Head) – this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make an impact and grow in their career.
The role:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines
- Create or modify CNC programs (Faunc / Heidenhain / Seiki)
- Produce high quality components to tight tolerances
- Experience with Bar Feed Machines
- Conduct first off inspections and in-process checks using precision measuring tools
- Work from technical drawings and engineering specs
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure quality and efficiency
About you:
- Proven experience in CNC turning
- Comfortable working with Faunc, Seiki, Heidenhain or similar controls
- Experience with either Sliding Head or Fixed Head
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents
- Confident using measuring equipment
- A positive attitude with good communication skills and attention to detail
