Computer Numerical Control Machinist

CNC Turner – 4 day working week!

Location: Essex

Job type: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 – £38,500 per annum

Hours: Monday to Thursday 6:45am – 4:30pm (37 hour per week)

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for an experience CNC turner to join our clients team in Bristol on a permanent contract.

We are seeking candidate with strong CNC turning and programming experience (Fixed or Sliding Head) – this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make an impact and grow in their career.

The role:

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines
• Create or modify CNC programs (Faunc / Heidenhain / Seiki)
• Produce high quality component to tight tolerances
• Experience with Bar Feed Machines
• Conduct first off inspections and in-process checks using precision measuring tools
• Work from technical drawings and engineering specs
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure quality and efficiency

About you:

• Proven experience in CNC turning
• Comfortable working with Faunc, Seiki, Heidenhain or similar controls
• Experience with either Sliding Head or Fixed Head
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents
• Confident using measuring equipment
• A positive attitude with good communication skills and attention to detail
