Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer ready to take their next step into leadership, or an established Maintenance Supervisor looking for your next challenge? We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our client in Chard’s maintenance team and play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing plant and facilities operate safely, efficiently and reliably.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and support the maintenance team, allocating work and promoting positive team culture
- Manage planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive breakdowns
- Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded using the Agility CMM system
- Coordinate servicing schedules, equipment inspections and statutory compliance checks
- Liaise with contractors, manage spare parts and support the installation of equipment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency
- Promote high standards of Health & Safety and ensure compliance across all maintenance activities
About you:
- Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Experience with planned preventative maintenance and SMMS systems
- Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills
- Proactive approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and Health & Safety
