We are looking for a professional, confident, and friendly Stockroom Manager with fantastic interpersonal skills to join our Flagship Store at Jermyn Street London.

It is essential that you have expert knowledge of stock and operations in a high volume, dynamic environment. Additionally, you are required to lead and develop the Stock Team to optimise operations across and between all concessions while continuing to deliver a positive impact on sales, customer service & stock management.

  • Inventory Handling: Lift, transport, and organise heavy items
  • Inventory Management: Manage the stock levels of the store, replenishing items out of stock, and strategising stock control.
  • Training and Supervising: Develop and supervise a team of stock personnel and ensure their ongoing training and professional development
  • Loss Prevention: Partner with store associates to maximize loss prevention initiatives.
  • Reports: Prepare reports on stock levels, stock movement, sales, and other relevant metrics.

Person Specification:

  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience in stockroom control
  • Previous management or supervisory experience within a fast-paced stockroom/retail setting
  • Strong understanding of stock control systems, inventory management, and supply chain processes
  • Preferably experience working in the fashion retail industry
  • Familiarity with the receiving, storage, and distribution of stock to the sales floor
  • Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining health and safety standards and procedures in the stockroom (health and safety of the staff as well as safety and security of the stockroom)
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently and effectively
  • Highly organised and methodical
  • Exceptional eye for detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as you may need to liaise/collaborate with other departments
  • Strong time management skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Keen interest in high-end/luxury fashion
