The Role
The Performance Marketing Executive is a data‑driven and commercially minded individual who will play a key role in support across PPC, Paid Social, and Affiliates.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their performance marketing career who is eager to take ownership of live campaigns, develop their analytical capabilities, and deliver measurable results across a range of digital acquisition channels.
The role sits within our marketing and e‑commerce function and works closely with the wider digital, content, and trading teams to ensure performance activity is aligned with commercial priorities and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid Media & Digital Acquisition
- Support the management of paid search (PPC) and paid social campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and any additional channels within the media mix.
- Assist in the day‑to‑day optimisation of live campaigns — including bid management, audience refinement, ad copy testing, and budget pacing — to maximise return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Monitor campaign performance against agreed KPIs including cost per acquisition (CPA), click‑through rate (CTR), conversion rate, and revenue attributed to paid channels.
- Contribute to the development of paid media briefs, working with the creative and content teams to ensure ad assets are on‑brand, platform‑appropriate, and optimised for performance.
- Support the management of retargeting and prospecting campaigns, ensuring audience segmentation and messaging is aligned with the customer journey.
- Stay current with platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging paid media formats, proactively sharing relevant insights with the wider team.
- Affiliate Marketing & Partner Management
- Manage and optimise our affiliate programme across key networks including Awin, Rakuten, and any additional platforms relevant to our channel strategy.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop relationships with new affiliate and publisher partners — including voucher and cashback sites, content publishers, loyalty platforms, and influencer affiliates.
- Monitor affiliate partner performance on an ongoing basis, identifying top performers, under‑performing partners, and opportunities to grow revenue through commission incentives or exclusive promotions.
- Negotiate placement opportunities, increased visibility, and preferential terms with affiliate partners to maximise brand exposure and return on investment.
- Manage commission structures, promotional codes, and seasonal incentives across the affiliate network, ensuring all activity is tracked accurately and paid correctly.
- Ensure all affiliate activity is brand‑safe, compliant with ASA and CAP guidelines, and consistent with our wider marketing messaging and visual identity.
- Work closely with the e‑commerce and trading teams to align affiliate promotions with key trading moments, new season launches, and sale periods.
- Reporting, Analysis & Performance Optimisation
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly performance reports across all performance marketing channels, clearly presenting results against KPIs and targets to the wider marketing team.
- Use Google Analytics (GA4), platform‑native reporting tools, and affiliate network dashboards to analyse channel performance, identify trends, and surface opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular audits of affiliate partner activity, tracking accuracy, and commission attribution to ensure data integrity across all networks.
- Identify and investigate performance anomalies or tracking discrepancies promptly, working with the relevant platform or technical team to resolve issues quickly.
- Contribute to the performance marketing roadmap by bringing data‑led recommendations on budget allocation, channel investment, and new partner or platform opportunities.
- Support post‑campaign analysis for key trading periods — including sale events, new season launches, and brand campaigns — providing clear insight on what worked and what to improve.
- Collaborate with the e‑commerce and digital merchandising teams to ensure landing pages, promotional pages, and product listings are optimised for paid and affiliate traffic.
- Work with the content and social media teams to align performance creative with organic content strategy and ensure messaging consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Support the coordination of promotional activity across performance channels during key trading moments — including peak trading periods, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
- Liaise with affiliate partners and networks to coordinate exclusive content, bespoke landing pages, or co‑branded promotional activity that drives incremental revenue.
- Contribute to the broader digital marketing strategy by sharing channel‑level insights and performance data that inform planning across the team.

- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) with the ability to build reports, analyse traffic data, and draw meaningful commercial conclusions.
- Experience with paid media platforms including Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, with an understanding of campaign structure, bidding strategies, and audience targeting.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage and interpret large data sets confidently.
