We are seeking a creative and highly organised Menswear Designer to execute our collection across smart casuals. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of product areas including trousers, casual outerwear, polos and knitwear.
Key Responsibilities- Design and product development for our men’s seasonal collections including trousers, casual outerwear, polos and knitwear.
- Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards and overall design direction aligned with brand identity, seasonal concepts, colour palettes, fabric direction and styling ideas.
- Create CADs and detailed design packs for seasonal developments.
- Conduct research into garment design, fabrics, trims and seasonal trends to support range planning.
- Research trends, cultural influences and market insights to inform collections.
- Translate creative vision into clear, actionable design briefs.
- Perform regular competitor analysis and contribute innovative ideas for new designs.
- Lead the end-to-end design process from initial sketches to final production.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments in a professional, timely and courteous manner.
- Design across trousers, casual outerwear, polos and knitwear with a strong focus on fit, proportion and construction.
- Oversee fabric, trim, and material selection in line with design and commercial targets.
- Collaborate with wider design and merchandising teams to ensure a cohesive collection offering.
- Work closely with garment technologists and product developers to ensure quality and feasibility.
- Attend fit sessions and action changes in conjunction with technical team to further product refinement.
- Manage the sampling process, ensuring timelines and standards are met.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders while maintaining design integrity.
- Participate in fit sessions and sample reviews, ensuring fit, quality and design intent are maintained.
- Support the delivery of collections within seasonal timelines and cost parameters.
- Present concepts and collections to the Design & Creative Director and senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to strategic discussions around product direction and seasonal planning.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe.
- Candidates should have a degree in fashion or textile design, and ideally 3-4 years' experience in formal/smart menswear, a strong commercial and creative portfolio and advanced skills in CAD and Adobe software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and enthusiastic, with a collaborative mindset.
