What Does a Vehicle Service Technician Do?
As a Vehicle Service Technician Apprentice, you’ll dive into the world of vehicle mechanics and electronics. You’ll learn how to keep vehicles safe, efficient, and road-ready by working on:
- Engine, exhaust, and brake systems
- Air conditioning and vehicle electronics
- Security systems and more
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Repairing and replacing parts
- Helping customers understand what work their car needs
- Estimating repair times
- Recording all work done on vehicles
What Will I Learn?
