The Learning Federation Mead Primary School is located at Amersham Rd, Harold Hill, RM3 9JD. The position is for a Teaching Assistant in the Early Years Team.
Grade: Grade 1/2 spinal point 3-5
Hours: 32.5 hours per week - 08:30 to 15:30 (30 minute unpaid lunch) / Working 38 weeks per year (not including inset days). Paid for 43.7 weeks per year (inclusive of 5.7 weeks paid annual leave).
Salary: Pro Rata salary of £21,652 - £22,271 per annum (FTE £28,617 - £29,436 per annum)
Contract: Permanent

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and dedicated person to join our Early Years Team. Your role will be to support pupils in their early development across the EYFS framework, assisting in creating a safe, engaging and inclusive environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- relevant experience of working in an Early Years setting
- a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years education (or be committed to attaining this within 24 months of joining our school)
- a caring and patient nature with a strong understanding of children’s developmental needs
- experience or willingness to support the intimate care and medical needs of pupils (full training will be provided)
- the ability to adapt their supporting methods to suit varying levels of need as required
- strong communication and teamwork skills
