Redden Court School is seeking a Site Manager. The role is Permanent, Full-Time, 36 hours per week. Grade: Scale 6 (Pt 18-20). Actual Salary: £35,520 - £36,585. Start Date: As soon as possible. Closing on 09/03/2026 at 09:00. Enhanced DBS Check required.
As a valued and dependable member of the Site Management team, manage the school premises to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance while maintaining a safe learning environment for students and staff. Manage and operate premises-related functions at the school including buildings and grounds maintenance, security, and liaising with contractors. Attend training courses such as Health and Safety, IOSH, and First Aid. Work with the Senior Operations Officer to plan a schedule of works to ensure budgets are spent effectively and develop a maintenance programme. Act as a key holder; may require being called outside normal working hours and cover site staff absence, including some shift work.

- Line management/supervisory experience.
- High level of team, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, delegate tasks as appropriate, multitask, and work to tight deadlines.
- High level of initiative, enthusiasm, and willingness to work collaboratively.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety in the context of a school environment.
- Previous experience is not required as training will be provided.
