We are looking to employ a Midday Supervisor to join our enthusiastic and energetic team. This role is for 1.5 hours a day i.e. 11.30 to 1.00 pm or 11.45 - 1.15 pm. The successful candidate will become part of our MDS team who work together to drive forwards our OPAL lunchtime 'play' provision.
In this role, the MDS will help to manage play zones outside such as a sand pit/tyre zone and ensure children's play in these is safe and enjoyable. The MDS will also manage behaviour in line with our school policy using 'Trauma Perceptive Practice' and, where needed, use a restorative approach to bring about a positive conclusion to any incident if they occur.
OPAL is a school improvement programme that we joined, with the aim to strategically and sustainably improve the quality of the play opportunities on offer at our school. We are in the process of creating different play zones/play areas managed by our parliament group - 'Healthy Heroes'. This will ultimately enhance the quality of our pupil's play now and for the future.
