Scargill Junior School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational part-time KS2 Class Teacher to join our team from January 2027, providing maternity cover.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about ensuring that every child achieves their very best and who wants to be part of a school committed to high expectations, strong relationships and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes;
- has experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 and a secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum;
- is committed to providing an inclusive, engaging and purposeful learning environment;
- has high expectations of behaviour, attitudes and achievement;
- uses assessment effectively to identify and address pupils' needs and accelerate progress;
- builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families;
- is reflective, collaborative and keen to contribute to the wider life of the school;
- demonstrates ambition for themselves and for every child.
