The Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated First Aid Administrator who will support both students/staff and visitors who are requiring first aid. The postholder will be responsible in the first instance in assessing First Aid problems presented by students and staff, taking appropriate first aid action in the event of any emergency and communicating with staff and parents as and when necessary.

The postholder will be computer literate as the Academy has a software tracking system where all first aid/medical incidents are recorded. The postholder will be responsible for their own continuing development as a first aider, undertaking training in both medical and pastoral areas, and participating in annual appraisals. The postholder, under the guidance of the Headteacher, will be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all children with whom they come into contact with, in accordance with the Trust’s and the Academy’s safeguarding policies.
