The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team to assist with the progress and development of our pupils with the focus on SEND, ADHD, Autism and SEMH. As such, there will be a focus on supporting the implementation of work programmes for individuals/groups, including leading on targeted interventions.

We ask that interested applicants are:

  • Who have experience working with SEND children;
  • Able to liaise with teachers to support differentiation in the classroom;
  • Able to plan and run individual/group interventions;
  • Committed to high standards of achievement and behaviour;
  • Able to work as part of a team but also show initiative to work independently;
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic;
  • Committed to Continued Professional Development (including HLTA qualification) and able to inspire and motivate others.

A full and comprehensive induction programme is followed for all new staff.

Emerson Park is a successful and oversubscribed 11-16 Secondary school in the London Borough of Havering. We are set in pleasant surroundings on the edge of the green belt with close proximity to both countryside and central London.
